Little Manzanita was Prairie's filly. Shortly after her birth she wandered around the house inspecting all the windows...

Desi had a colt named Charlie.

Sadly he was an ornery little fellow and didn't get along particularly well with his sister.
They did take a little adventure together into the neighbor's yard though, where apparently his little world was shattered. He was pretty terrified after this and Teila had to go and calm him down.
One evening a bouncy pair of deer, by the names of Bambi and Bambina (lol), passed through the yard.
Little Percy was nearing another birthday. He already mastered walking and talking, and was capable of using the potty all on his own. As he gets older he may not appreciate the lovely purple eyes he got from his mother.

Teila was going to miss her twin, but she understood her decision. Fern still needed a few days to get everything in order, though. She had bought a fancy new food replicator for the new couple, and set to work upgrading it and stocking it with some yummy meals to get them by until Teila felt more confident in the kitchen.
She also made sure to give her nephew plenty of snuggles.
With Fern leaving, Troy knew that he would have to pick up some skill in plumbing and general household repair, so when he broke the shower that evening he busted out the wrench himself to fix it.
Before they knew it it was time for Percy's party. Troy's parents had both been invited but his father, Barrington, was the only one to show. That's not entirely true, his mother walked up to the front door before she realized she had somewhere else to be...
Unfortunately Troy and his father got into a disagreement over some tickets....or something...

Percy didn't seem phased by this though, and was excited to blow out his birthday candles.
He really liked the hat Auntie Fern gave him for his birthday.
So much so that he forgot to take it off before crashing on the couch upstairs for a nap.
Fern had wanted to stay for the party, but once it was over it was time for her to take her leave. She asked Percy to take care of her animals for her while she was gone, but she did take one with her; the little rat she had found a few days earlier would make a nice traveling companion.
She made sure to say goodbye to Prairie and Desi and wish them well on their endeavor before she caught her cab to the airport.
She had given her family one last gift though before she left, a new hover-bed for the happy couple...
