Despite their initial ideas, Desi and Reese did manage to produce a little colt by the name of Snicker.
Reese and Prairie had a filly named Baby. I love how both foals inherited their daddy's neck striping, but in different ways.
I wonder if they were working on some kind of synchronized dancing routine...
The boys were growing fast, and a double birthday party was scheduled to celebrate. Percy, being the oldest, got to take his turn at the cake first.
He developed some kind of strange disfigurement under his nose though...
Percy claimed it interfered with his breathing, so his parents allowed for some very minor cosmetic surgery.
Troy's parents had been invited to the party again, and this time they both actually showed up.
However, Barrington was quite rude to Teila after everyone had finished their cake. His insult that she smelled like a llama seemed most unnecessary.
Despite his age, Percy was still spending a great bit of time with his imaginary friend "Cuddles".
This was something his parents had hoped he would have outgrown by now...
While Percy had inherited their mother's hair and eye colors, Cyrus was all Troy.
He spent a lot of time with his father, and learned a lot from him.
Although I'm not sure if this is a usual topic of conversation between males...
He enjoyed his mommy time too, and he loved it when Teila would take him out for rides on the bouncy horse outside. So much so, that he oftentimes refused to get off.
He loved to be outside though, and Teila would sometimes take him out to the garden to feed him. I'm not really sure what she was thinking here, but maybe she felt she could kill two birds with one stone and give him a bath at the same time.
There were several times that Teila had to bring in the odd toy or two that he had dragged out into the garden.
The horses seemed especially fascinating for him, and Teila had a feeling that he might pursue a life with them just as she had.
